I was cleaning up some files on my old computer that usually sits gathering dust in our spare room when I came across an interesting little piece on how things have changed, particularly in recent years. The piece was about a woman and her grandson talking and the woman finished with the following words:

In my day:
"grass" was mowed,
"coke" was a cold drink,
"pot" was something your mother cooked in and
"rock music" was your grandmother's lullaby.
"Aids" were helpers in the Principal's office,
"gay" meant you were happy
"chip" was a piece missing out of a teacup
"hardware" was found in a hardware store and
"software" wasn't even a word.

And we were the last generation to actually believe that a lady needed a husband to have a baby. No wonder people call us "old and confused" and say there is a generation gap... and how old do you think I am?

Answer: She was born in 1947 (a baby boomer!!!) and turned 63 in 2010!!!

Ignoring the fact she must have lived in a convent during the 1960s and 70s our not so fictitious grandma is actually part of that generation that makes up about one-third of the US population that has control over two-thirds the wealth in the country! There are more than 1 billion of us throughout the world. (Yes, I'm a boomer)

This little story only tends to highlight the massive changes that have taken place within the lifespan of what is now becoming the senior generation in our world. In this no-longer-innocent world of constant change we need to be on top of things more than ever before in the history of humankind. Yet all we have to fall back on are the resources we have always had. However, those resources, fully realized, are more than enough for you to live your ultimate life.
Unfortunately most of us never realize the potential we have. As a result we never ever develop what it takes to live well-adjusted, healthy, fulfilled lives. What a waste!

There are enough clues scattered around. There have been countless words written on the topic, but it is only when people hit some sort of crisis point in their lives that they become motivated enough to do something about changing themselves.

That is the key. Living the Ultimate Life is a great goal to have, but it is the person you become in the process that makes life so much better. In fact I would go so far as to say that for most who are living their ultimate life, if you took away all the trappings, they would still be fulfilled. They could, almost magically it seems, get it all back again with no real apparent effort.

I can say that quite confidently because I have seen it happen time and time again. So whether you do it for the person you will become, or you just like the idea of living the life you want, you owe it to yourself and to those with whom you associate to pursue your Ultimate Life.

Subliminal messages are signals embedded in other forms of medium designed to bypass the conscious mind into the facets of the subconscious mind. These messages are foreign to the conscious mind, meaning the conscious mind can in no way process of subliminal messages. Depending on the type of subliminal messages induced, an individual can form certain behavioral changes in response to the messages introduced. The subconscious mind is noted to adapt or rather affect learning process in order to affect development and thoughts patterns. The word subliminal means below the limen, in latin it translate as under threshold. How subliminal work to affect this is quite complicated and can not be explained in depth in this single writing, however subliminal persuasions take in place when subliminal messages are induced in alternating wave frequencies, the brain works in aid of electric pulses which are effective in posting messages and pulses through the neuron network. The effect of this is an adoption of learning process by the subconscious which is affects behavioral changes or development.

Recently, my husband and I went for an all day birding workshop in Cape May on a bitterly cold, windy day with the highs expected to be in the teens. As I dressed in every layer I possessed, I remembered the motto of a guide we had in Patagonia several years before. "There is no bad weather, just bad gear." Those words have stayed with me and as a result, I have gradually acquired a varied wardrobe of outdoor clothing for all seasons. But I also realized this is a metaphor for how to live. This cold day gave me pause to reflect on the protective gear I need ready at hand to face life's inevitable storms. These are my four essential layers.

Innermost Layer - Keeping the faith is my primal protection. Realizing that ultimately I have no control over the universe, I can only accept life's unfolding and try to meet it with integrity, compassion and gratitude. I have learned that it is important to foster my faith through reflection and prayer so that it becomes an integral part of me and autonomic in times of difficulty.

Second Layer - I need breathing space. Whatever the situation, one needs to breathe. When shepherding my father through his journey with esophageal cancer, I would travel to Boston for his chemo and radiation treatments. I was fortunate to be able to stay in a residential unit they had for cancer families within the hospital itself. However, I soon learned that to maintain my sanity, it was absolutely essential for me to go outside everyday and take a walk. When dealing with crisis situations, we tend to adopt tunnel vision, enabling us to direct all our energy towards the challenge at hand. We need to remind ourselves to occasionally step back and breathe. For me, just being outside, feeling the sun and the wind and watching the clouds gave me perspective, hope, and the space to breathe.

Third layer - Call in the support team! I've learned the hard way that I can't go it alone when the going gets tough. I need my husband's shoulder to cry on, my girlfriends to confide in, and my daughters to hold my hand. Over the years, I've also gathered numerous professionals around me - therapist, life coach, masseuses, and medical doctors I trust. We all need a pit crew to keep us in the race.

External Layer - The roles that we are used to playing can be like those favorite jeans that have molded to our body. In difficult times, it helps to identify the role I need to play. With my father, on one day I needed just to be the loving daughter holding his hand; another day, his secretary keeping track of all the information; another day, his advocate. We cannot be all things at all times. To identify what we can do and do well, makes an overwhelming situation manageable.

When the hurricane hits, it's not the time to go out shopping for foul weather gear. All of these essential layers that I have identified for myself require both maintenance and time to develop. What are your essential protective layers and what condition are they in?

One of the hardest challenges for humans, is the concept of living in the present moment. People aren't taught to value the present moment because typically, we are taught to live in the two other realms of consciousness: the past and the future. If a person were to think about it, from the time that we are children, be are taught to think about our futures. We go to school, are taught to get good grades and to stay out of trouble, so that we can go to college and get a good job in the future. Little girls are taught to pine after their husbands and they spend their whole childhoods planning their future weddings. People will ask children all of the time, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" All of these scenarios and more implant the hopes and fears that adults have for the lives of children about their futures.

As the child matures into adulthood, they live life in a variety of ways. No matter how well the child might have been prepared for the future, many unexpected things happen in life. Our lives will certainly take many twist and turns, and we might even get lost along the way. We will make a variety of mistakes large and small that will affect our careers, our relationships, and our opinions of life and ourselves. It's during times like this that we look back to the past. We might remember the good advice that was bestowed upon us. We might hear a song that was popular during a long lost era of our lives, and the song will bring back those memories from the past. As we become even older, we will certainly have years of memories in our mind that we desperately try to hold on to, and that we pass down to our grandchildren and other relatives.

Based upon the fact that we are trained to either live in the future or in the past, it's no wonder that most people have no idea as to how to live in the present moment. Because we don't know how to live in the present moment, we suffer negative and downright toxic emotions such as stress, anxiety, regret, depression, anger, and bitterness. This is why Shannon Duncan has created a wonderful CD series,. Shannon Duncan seeks to help the listeners of The Power of Present Moment Awareness to understand how to train their minds to stay in the present, and to live in the present. He does this by teaching that teaching that everyday life has lessons to teach us, and that if we can focus on the present moment, we can learn and grow in the ways that we need to...now, and in the present moment.

The listeners will learn how to create healthier relationships with others, when they learn how to get rid of old hurts and bitterness. The listeners will learn how to re-frame their perspectives based on their realities in the present moment. This takes a huge burden off them, and off others. So many people relate to others and view themselves based upon viewpoints that might have been in the past, but don't work now. The listeners will learn how to take the burden off others to be a person that they aren't capable of being. In this way, the listener can relate to others in a way that is appropriate in the present moment.

There are so many other life-changing lessons that are waiting for the listeners This is a must-have for those who want to stop living in the past, and that want to stop worrying about the future. They can learn how to make the present moment work for them and thus create a future legacy that they will feel great about.

While a lot of people are busy making new year resolutions, hitting the gym to get into shape and fulfilling their other new year resolutions, a lot of times people often fail to consider what they should also avoid in the coming year.

Here are 5 things that you should avoid doing in the new year in order for your life to be a better one:

1. Withholding forgiveness

Do not bear hatred and anger deep in your heart across anybody who has done something wrong to you. If the person who has wronged you really cares about you, chances are they would probably have beaten themselves up enough before coming to ask for your forgiveness. So learn to let go and do not risk the health of your relationship by withholding forgiveness.

2. Using your job as an excuse

I am sure you have often heard the phrase "I am doing this for my family!" This is the phrase that is often used for neglect towards your loved ones especially if you are stressed up at your job. If you have really been a good employee, I am sure that your employer will be able to give you some leeway and time for you to get your relationship with your family and friends back on track. You will definitely be sure that you did it afterwards and so will your employer!

3. Jumping to assumptions and conclusions

Don't always assume and jump to conclusions when you have only heard one side of the story, because you don't. Learn to ask more questions, listen, and then ask more questions. Don't back others into a corner when you give your final answers, and give yourself an out at the same time.

4. Eating and binging for all the wrong reasons

Eat because you need to, don't eat because you have to. Don't eat just because you feel tired, bored, thirsty or nervous this year. Eating more due to these reasons in the past is probably the main reason that has led to why you have resolved to hitting the gym more often this year.

5. Loathing yourself

Learn to love yourself for who you are! A lot of people do not realize how much they actually beat up themselves over little things. You need to set an example for others as to how you should be treated and appreciated. If you respect and take good care of yourself, you will be surprised to find that most will actually follow your example.

So besides your new year resolutions, be sure to keep in mind these few things you should avoid in the new year, and I wish you a very happy new year.

Pain is prophet and its Miracle is Awareness.

When Buddha returned from the caves of chaos to heaven of humans, then His wife had asked Him three questions. And it was greatest irony for all Buddhists that Buddha had not given her proper answers and she was disappointed more than words can say. May be my readers can get conflict with my point but I believe and know that the wife of Buddha had found the actual wisdom in compare to Himself. Buddha had found the truth from His pain, by killing His own Ego and he had got rid off all his desires. But he could not leave one "desire" and that desire was " Leave and put off all desires". But that was also a desire. And finally he came back. He had got exile from exile-hood. He negated all negates.

He started his journey from zero degree and arrived at 360 degree, and found at there same zero. His traveling was zero to zero. There was not any degree named 360. It was a circle of enlightenment. In other meaning he had explored innocence-hood from complexity. Although at the start he was innocent too. The innocence-hood of unknowingness. After returned he guessed that I had got nothing...but the wisdom of unknowingness. Where he was already before in his hermit. Then what was that? What is this? In compulsion he has had told that": Nothing, here and there is nothing... But a pain an endless pain".

However his wife had found that eternal truth on the first night when she felt herself alone, without her husband. She saw her son... and felt that pain. I believe that her pain was so stronger than Buddha's was. the isolation of her beloved husband made her dead day-by-day. No one could reach her feelings. When she heard that her husband sleeps under the open sky and on the bed of dry leaves, she started doing the same. She heard that her beloved has left eating, she left too. Even history witnesses that she had kept fast as long as her life allowed her. She had left all desires and amazing was that, there was no any desire in her heart for leaving all things, for exiling or so and so. But only for her love, she felt pain, though her husband had desire, as I said earlier. But when he came back to all... not to his home, she went to him carrying his and her son and politely asked to him three questions:"

Buddha! What had you won and achieved? Tell me what were your feelings, when you had achieved your enlightenment? And finally at right now what is in your hands, which you want to give your son... because your son wanted too?" There had been no answer at Buddha for first two questions however, for giving his son he offered his "Empty Bowl" the bowl of beggars. It was another thing that her wife had refused to accept and smiled at her beloved husband. That smile was like elders' smile on their children's' mistakes. Right at that time it was great irony that hundreds of fresh disciples were joining his group but, his wife had returned from him and gossiped with herself:" Nothing, he is nothing." Meanwhile Buddha was preaching to all that:" Here and there is Nothing, but a pain. Get rid off all desires, and be aware."

I don't know how many of his disciples were awarded and still how much number of monks are able to know his philosophy. But one thing is clear that his wife had found that truth with out any labour, without any so-called desire. She had found awareness from her pain. The pain of isolation the pain of un-meaning goal. At the end of Buddha's life he was a river but his wife became an ocean. The cool and sedate! The reason is, why she had sealed her lips, why she didn't preached? The prophet of awareness came to her and disclosed all His awareness. In which she learned that": Be Mute!"

To manifest money successfully using the Law of Attraction you want to "think" a completely different way than most people tell you to think when trying to manifest money using the Law of Attraction. Just "thinking about attraction" by doing money affirmations or other abundance and prosperity affirmations isn't enough and this article tells you why and what to do about it.

When most people start experimenting with the Law of Attraction, it's usually to manifest money, although sometimes people will start out trying to manifest better health or better relationships. But, the fact remains that manifesting money is usually the primary goal for newcomers when starting out using the Law of Attraction.

The funny thing about this is these newcomers usually have great need when it comes to "needing money" so their "energetic signature" is need, yet they usually place great expectations on the Law of Attraction to "deliver magical results." When the magical results don't occur after spending a short time to learn how to manifest money the traditional "intellectual" way by doing money affirmations or repeating money mantras or perhaps repeating one specific wealth affirmation, then most people get disillusioned and blame the Law of Attraction for not working.

Although this is typical for most people, it does not have to be their only choice because new techniques and practices around changing our "energetic signature" have been proven successful and replace the outdated "thinking only mode" of doing money affirmations, abundance and prosperity affirmations, and abundance wealth affirmations and gives people hope to manifest money successfully with the Law of Attraction.

One of the newest finds in the study of using the Law of Attraction is "working energetically" instead of "thinking intellectually." What this means is to stop relying on just your mind, and to start relying on your entire physical body to feel the energy of what you're trying to attract.

So, how do you do this? It's actually rather simple when you know a few tricks. One of the tricks is to change your subconscious "homing pigeon" part of your brain to send out the "energetic signal" that having money is good. While this sounds simple, most people miss this point altogether when trying to manifest money using the Law of Attraction.

Most people go for getting the result of having lots of money, but disregard all the "negative subconscious beliefs" they have inside themselves surrounding money. These "negative subconscious beliefs" then send out a conflicting "energetic signature" to the Law of Attraction that negates most of the effort people put into doing their money affirmations, abundance and prosperity affirmations or continually repeating money mantras or even one specific wealth affirmation.

One way of releasing these "negative subconscious beliefs" around money is to use silent subliminal meditations that target many of the negative beliefs we have picked up from our "poverty minded" society. These types of meditations are uncommon, however, since this particular technique is cutting-edge on how to use the Law of Attraction to manifest money.

Another one of the new tricks is to "tune your physical body" to the vibration of what you want to attract. This has been proven to be a much stronger technique than just reciting money affirmations. Once you learn how to manifest money by doing energetic exercises that teach your body how to feel the vibration of what you want to attract, you can successfully manifest money or anything else you want with the Law of Attraction.

Learning how to manifest money with the Law of Attraction by learning some of these latest, cutting-edge techniques that practically force the Law of Attraction to work give you deeper, more concrete ways to manifest money because you've removed your subconscious blocks to receiving money, as well as have enlisted the help of your entire physical body to attract money instead of just relying on your mind alone to be strong enough to manifest what you desire.

These techniques of changing your subconscious mind through silent subliminals and learning energetic exercises that tune your body to match what you desire are much more effective and easier than simply reciting money affirmations because these new techniques work on much deeper energetic levels than you can attain through reciting affirmations or other approaches that only center around using "conscious thinking processes."
