One of the hardest challenges for humans, is the concept of living in the present moment. People aren't taught to value the present moment because typically, we are taught to live in the two other realms of consciousness: the past and the future. If a person were to think about it, from the time that we are children, be are taught to think about our futures. We go to school, are taught to get good grades and to stay out of trouble, so that we can go to college and get a good job in the future. Little girls are taught to pine after their husbands and they spend their whole childhoods planning their future weddings. People will ask children all of the time, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" All of these scenarios and more implant the hopes and fears that adults have for the lives of children about their futures.

As the child matures into adulthood, they live life in a variety of ways. No matter how well the child might have been prepared for the future, many unexpected things happen in life. Our lives will certainly take many twist and turns, and we might even get lost along the way. We will make a variety of mistakes large and small that will affect our careers, our relationships, and our opinions of life and ourselves. It's during times like this that we look back to the past. We might remember the good advice that was bestowed upon us. We might hear a song that was popular during a long lost era of our lives, and the song will bring back those memories from the past. As we become even older, we will certainly have years of memories in our mind that we desperately try to hold on to, and that we pass down to our grandchildren and other relatives.

Based upon the fact that we are trained to either live in the future or in the past, it's no wonder that most people have no idea as to how to live in the present moment. Because we don't know how to live in the present moment, we suffer negative and downright toxic emotions such as stress, anxiety, regret, depression, anger, and bitterness. This is why Shannon Duncan has created a wonderful CD series,. Shannon Duncan seeks to help the listeners of The Power of Present Moment Awareness to understand how to train their minds to stay in the present, and to live in the present. He does this by teaching that teaching that everyday life has lessons to teach us, and that if we can focus on the present moment, we can learn and grow in the ways that we need to...now, and in the present moment.

The listeners will learn how to create healthier relationships with others, when they learn how to get rid of old hurts and bitterness. The listeners will learn how to re-frame their perspectives based on their realities in the present moment. This takes a huge burden off them, and off others. So many people relate to others and view themselves based upon viewpoints that might have been in the past, but don't work now. The listeners will learn how to take the burden off others to be a person that they aren't capable of being. In this way, the listener can relate to others in a way that is appropriate in the present moment.

There are so many other life-changing lessons that are waiting for the listeners This is a must-have for those who want to stop living in the past, and that want to stop worrying about the future. They can learn how to make the present moment work for them and thus create a future legacy that they will feel great about.
